We are hosting the 2011 SECT CrossFit Total on Saturday , October 29th at 9am. We highly encourage all interested parties to compete because it'll be fun and focusing on competition helps raise your game to the next level. Please don't use excuses like "I don't stand a chance", or some bullshit like that. Drop your ego, or your fears, and step into the arena. And that means you too ladies. Unless you're an elite athlete in a particular sport you're not expected to win all of the time. It's more about challenging yourself in new sports, applying all that hard work you do in the gym, and learning something about yourself through training and competition. Who knows, you may even have fun doing it!

Contested lifts are:
1. Back Squat
2. Overhead Press
3. Deadlift (conventional; no sumo)
Rules:
1. ALL LIFTERS MUST BE PRESENT FOR RULES CLINIC THE MORNING THEY LIFT. FAILURE TO BE PRESENT FOR THE PRESENTATION OF RULES MAY RESULT IN FORFEITURE OF ENTRY FEE.
2. Must be 16 years of age, or older.
3. Completed Health & Liability waiver must be on file with us (download link below)
4. No equipment - No Squat suits, deadlift suits, or knee wraps
5. Lifting belts, Squat shoes, and wrist wraps are allowed
Deadline: Entry deadline is Thursday October 27th, 2011. Entries must be received by this date. Late entries will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. Lifters who miss the entry deadline must contact the meet director for availability to be put on meet roster. Failure to contact the meet director before “walking in” runs the risk of being excluded from the meet if 25 lifter limit has been reached for the day. A late registration fee of $10.00 will be charged to anyone registering after the 27th. NO REFUNDS will be made after entry deadline. A meet credit will be honored for any other SECTCF meets within one calendar year.
